Technical Product Owner

Experience and Academics Criteria

  • 15+ years of experience work in the IT sector with 10 years in the healthcare industry, preferably in US healthcare

  • 5-8 years’ experience working with leading US Healthcare Insurance providers

  • Experience working and managing US team members

  • Demonstrable experience in managing client-facing or client-serving situations

  • Extensive knowledge of US Healthcare Claims Data and Healthcare products. Ability to translate complex data into readable user-friendly formats

  • Preference for Certification in SAFe 5 Product Owner/Product Manager, SAFe 5 Scrum Master

  • Working knowledge of SQL – Ability to write complex queries to generate data reports

  • Advanced knowledge of JIRA, ASANA  - ability to track team progress and create dashboards, reports for higher management

  • Knowledge of Cloud based infrastructure

  • Master’s degree in business, engineering preferred

  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the Product life cycle

  • Manage Product Development lifecycle by providing leadership and guidance to teams on responsible product level initiatives. Ensure overall goals/objectives are achieved related to assigned portfolio.

  • Ability to translate and discuss requirements with various types of stakeholders, able to tailor communication to specific individuals based on their knowledge level

  • Plan and Prioritize product Feature backlog - create features, user stories and detail out Acceptance Criteria for the team and ensure the team delivers maximum value in alignment with product strategy

  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Sprint Goals

  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value

  • Ability to work as Scrum Master when needed and manage Agile/scrum development teams

  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including the ability to clearly and openly communicate status, issues/risks, and challenges presented to project, as well as ability to create clear and concise presentations

Strategic Tasks

  • Create future vision for the Product – Product enhancements and Product Roadmap

  • Excellent organization skills with ability to multi-task and drive multiple priorities at the same time

Operational Tasks

       Manage day to day deliverables as required
