JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works with new architectures and product introduction to make them standard implemented solutions in the network. Assists other Network Engineering teams in the analysis and diagnosis of problems.
  • Remains current on IP and security products, standards and practices.
  • Manages and administers Cotiviti telecommunications network - including the LAN, WAN, MPLS, and SONET environments. Supports SSL VPN, Firewall, and Network Switches.
  • Monitors system performance and analyzes workload, including traffic and utilization trends..
  • Participates in multiple network projects simultaneously while maintaining daily operational excellence for all Cotiviti networks.  Analyzes network security and threats, as well as, remediates LAN and WAN vulnerabilities by the use of industry leading tools.
  • Researches, tests, evaluates, and recommends telecommunications and data network systems. Seeks continual performance improvements within a highly secure environment.
  • Supports and maintains the highest network security level throughout the Cotiviti environment. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Works with new architectures and product introduction to make them standard implemented solutions in the network. Assists other Network Engineering teams in the analysis and diagnosis of problems.
  • 5+ years Network Engineering experience or related. CCIE,CCNP and/or JNCIP,JNCIE preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of IP protocols, MPLS L2VPN, MPLS L3VPN, MPLS TE, OSPF, BGP, Cisco CRS-1, Cisco nexus, Juniper SRX, Juniper M-320, Juniper Netscreen, Ethernet, SONET, physical fiber and copper infrastructure, optical data networking and other data networking concepts.
  • Networking and/or Security certifications: CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP, CICA, Network+, Security +
  • Advanced knowledge of networking equipment including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers. LAN, WAN, SDWan, DNS, VOIP, IP security, NAT, ACLs, STP,  EIGRP, HSRP,  PPP,  VPN, SNMP
  • Experience with security tools to include: SSL VPN, RSA server and devices and anti-virus
  • Broad knowledge of the configuration and maintenance of multiple vendor hardware using both GUI and CLI methods
  • Knowledge of telephony such as PRIs, H.323, SIP, and basic call routing as to assist in troubleshooting
  • Experience working with Infoblox Trinzic devices including but not limited to PERL scripting
  • Physical plant and data center experience preferred
  • Experience with Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewalls, and F5 load balancers preferred
  • Knowledge of Linux is a plus
  • Ability to apply knowledge to real world scenarios
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work calmly under pressure
  • Self-starter, team player, personable, enthusiastic, hardworking, and enjoy interfacing with customers on a day to day basis
  • Hands-on configuration and operational knowledge of multiple Vendor products and their operation
  • Expert level troubleshooting methodology to isolate and identify configuration, design, and software anomalies; ability to clearly articulate findings in written and verbal communications with development level engineering staff
